Realsports volleyball is simply old school arcade sports action at its best.
Basically, there are two members on your team, you can do multiplayer for twice the fun! To hit the ball, obviously press the only button on the joystick. You can move in any direction, while your two players move at the same time. There's no problem here, although the real problem is determing where the ball lands. It gets frustrating to know where the ball will land, even on the easiest hits. Thankfully, it isn't too tedious to keep you away from this game.
Graphically, the scenery is awesome. They actually put a net in the game, amazing due to the systems technical limitations. The characters look colorful, and the audio effects are sweet too.
In conclusion, despite its one flaw, Realsports volleyball is simply old school arcade sports action at its best. It may not stand the test of time as an Xbox Live Arcade game, but if you own the Atari 2600, get ready to play some volleyball!
