Not exactly like the real world, but close enough for current gen gaming.

User Rating: 8.1 | Real World Golf XBOX
This game isn't perfect, and the graphics do need some polishing, but if you follow the directions it should play about as well as you'd expect for home consoling. The game tracks height and club angle according to your hand position relative to the base unit, so there are some limitations, but it does a great job given the hardware package. If you're like the other serious reviewer and want the real deal for golf simulation, head out to Dave and Buster's and play it there. Otherwise, just pick up a set of used clubs and hit the cheap links. The game currently sells at $70 so taking into account 40 or 50 for the game and 20 or 30 for the controller, it's a decent value. For the home console price range, this is as good as it's gonna get for the current gen. This game ranks about a 8 or 8.5. If you don't come into this expecting the same experience as the real world, you'll be fairly satisfied. However, this game does raise some interesting possibilities about EA teaming up with MadCatz and rehashing Tiger Woods '05 or '06 with this controller system. One final note, if you do pick this game up and find yourself swapping the gloves with friends a lot during multiplayer matches, it might be a good idea to consider getting some button snaps to replace the velcro on the gloves when they finally do wear out. Either that or check with the MadCatz site about getting replacement gloves.
