Rayman: Raving Rabbids is good as a funny mini game collection and bad as a Rayman game.

User Rating: 7 | Rayman Raving Rabbids PS2
Rayman: Raving Rabbids is a mini game collection full of mostly funny mini games starring crazy rabbids. The most enjoyable parts are the great shooting levels, but when I played this game, I always forgot it's a Rayman game. Rayman himself only appears in the screen some times and the real stars of the game are the rabbids. When comparing this to the amazing first Rayman, you can hardly believe it's the same game series. Raving Rabbids really forgets it's roots. But as a mini game collection, it is pretty funny and the most of the mini games are different. The graphics are pretty simple, but they are nice to look at. The controls are fitting sometimes, but this is originally a Wii game, so the controls in some mini games may seem out of place. The sounds consist sometimes of music (That certainly aren't too memorable) and the yelling of the crazy rabbids. Some of the rabbids are parodies many video game characters, most notable one to me was Sam Fisher rabbid complete with the green goggles. The game can be easily completed in less than 5 hours, but the multi player is fun and makes the game more lengthy. Raving Rabbids is funny and enjoyable for a little while, but as a Rayman game, it's a fail.

+ Pros: Funny rabbids, shooting mini games, nice looking graphics
- Cons: Rayman rarely appears in the screen, the games is too short, some of the dance mini games are too difficult
