Rayman rocks it to the Rabbids for the first time in this game!

Although I have still yet to play the more big console versions of this game which mainly revolve around mini-game events, this platforming game for the Game Boy Advance is entertaining in its own right. Featuring some of the best graphics and music available for this portable system, it gives Rayman unique capabilities for use in his battle against the Raving Rabbids. As can be very accurately guessed, Rabbids are the "Rayman" equivalent of rabbits. For a long time, they have had a kind and gentle nature. Unfortunately, far too many OTHER creatures took advantage of the Rabbids nature, until finally the Rabbids couldn't take being abused anymore and are now revolting (against the abusers, not necessarily revolting in their appearance.) Even though the Rabbids don't want much, they go to extremes to exact their revenge, as they capture Rayman's friends and scatter the lums (energy orbs necessary to maintain life forces in the world of "Rayman,") to the far reaches of the world in order to make every other creature feel as miserable as they have been made. Rayman, of course, knows that two wrongs do not make a right, and decides to tackle the Rabbid problem head on! :!:
In this game, there are brand new racing courses which make for a new, unique experience, some new enemies to fight and end-level bosses that require different strategies to beat them. In addition to new enemies, Rayman gains new, unique abilities whenever he gains the ability to change into a new costume. When Rayman is a rapper, he can pound down pencils (by jumping down on them hard) in order to gain access to new areas! As a punk rocker, Rayman can chew and spit out bubble gum, creating trampolines from stumps, and defeating certain enemies that can't be beaten otherwise. As a grandma (I kid you not) Rayman can lay down carrots, which is useful to distract certain enemies that Rayman normally couldn't get past, and gives Rayman a chance to launch a sneak attack on those enemies that Rayman ordinarily wouldn't be able to dish out! As an Elvis Presley rock and roller, Rayman uses a guitar to break certain objects and deal damage to certain enemies that couldn't be damaged otherwise. And as a disco musician, Rayman gains a super-powerful fist that deals out double the damage of his regular fist, and can take out enemies that would normally be too tough to harm!

The level design is very creative in this game! My personal favorite was the level where practically everything was made out of chocolate and sweets! :D The game is a little on the short side, but it's still an entertaining experience all the same. So if you can pick it up relatively cheap, it's worth a play through. I enjoyed this game, and recommend it to players looking for some new fun! 8) Enough said, true believers! ;)
