The goofy, hilarious Rabbids, combined with tight controls and plenty of fun minigames prove great in this wacky game.

User Rating: 8.5 | Rayman Raving Rabbids WII
Ubisoft has had some disappointing games created like Red Steel and Just Dance. Fortunately, they have plenty of other games that make up for them. I'm guessing Rayman Raving Rabbids makes up for Red Steel. Anyways this party is a whole lot of fun. Though the graphics could be improved, the controls are very responsive, and make great use for the Wii motion sensitivity. And the Rabbids are some of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Story mode is the best feature in the game. The story is pretty simple. Rayman (Ubisoft's classic platforming character) and these small dino-like creatures called Globox are having a picnic. All of a sudden, Rabbids start popping up and taking the Globoxes. Eventually, they take Rayman, too. The Globoxes are put in cages, and Rayman is thrown into a cell. The rabbids motive is hard to explain. Yet, all I know is that the rabbids are doing this solely for their own amusement. In story mode, you must complete trials in order gain access to the final trial. Completing three of the four trials gives you access. Completing all four qualification trials gives you bonus material and more minigames in Score mode. As you progress, the Rabbids start liking you more, and your cell gets upgraded, and you get more motivation from them.

The controls are tight, the animation looks good, and there are plenty of minigames to play. Unfortunately, the graphics could use some updating. Rayman looks like a freak becuase he has no neck, no arms, no legs, and no pants. It's bad, but it's not a big drawback. The rabbids look okay though they also could be impoved. Another drawback is that playing story mode is the only way to unlock mingames, and some of these minigames are recycled and have a harder difficulty on it. These aren't huge drawbacks, but it shows Ubisoft is a little lazy.

Score mode is more like party mode with a high score feature on it. Up to four players can play minigames unlocked from story mode. Taking turns is a drawback in score mode 'cause it takes up time. Everything else is goofy fun. There is plenty of bonus features and other things to keep the party going.

Noticeable negatives can slow the party down, but the Rabbids are just too funny to resist. The goofy, hilarious rabbids, combined with tight controls and plenty of minigames prove great in this wacky game.

Gameplay: 9.5/10
Graphics: 7.5/10
Story: 8/10
Sound and Music: 9/10
Replay Value: 9.5/10
Fun: 8/10
Overall: 8.5/10

POSITIVES: Great and very responsive controls; A lot of minigames; Fun bonus material; So very, very many rabbids.

NEGATIVES: Graphics need to be improved; Some of the mingames are recycled; Story a little too simple.

Final Word: $19.99 is a good price for a fun party game that's four years old. If the three other entries in the series are as good, I'll recommend it.
