This game is about as simple as you can get. The graphics are nothing to shout about, they're really basic. The gameplay is decent, you can move throughout the screen fairly easily. The sound is grainy and harsh, which suits the action if not your ears. Where the game excels is in the frenetic nature of the action. If you're looking for a plot, you're not really going to find one in this game. The graphics also don't really change as you go from level to level. This is simply your basic shooter style game, old-school style. After a few goes you will learn strategies to deal with the higher levels and then get wiped out as the enemies become ever more merciless. And you'll likely want to keep playing, as it can be addicting. This was one of many games of this type on the Commodore 64. I think this game is going to come out as a download on the XBox arcade or whatever it's called. I still don't fully understand why someone would pay hundreds of dollars for a new-gen system to play 20 year old games though. Stranger things have happened.
