Rayman 2: The Great Escape User Review
Best game in the Rayman series! I love the new 3D platform and the new exciting adventure that Rayman embarks!

- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
I love the Rayman series, but to me, this was the best one! It switched from the normal 2D platform, to the exciting 3D platform. The story is also great, on which Rayman is captured by pirates, but then escapes and helps his friends. Then he saves the world.
The new abilities he has is also a great addition! We all know the propeller hair and the throwing his fist at enemies, but they added more interesting abilities. He can shoot lums out of his hands, pick up things, and swim underwater! I also like the enemies he faces and the intereting characters.
The game mechanics are nice, but not as nice as today's technology. 3D games have improved since then. The music is nice though. In some spots it has a mysterious loomy feel, and in others, it makes feel like battling and running for your life!
This game is also not very easy, but not too hard. Some parts in it were frustrating to me, like the time you had to get the two orbs back to the holders. But, then again, hardness is what makes the game fun too! If this game was too easy, you would play right through it in a day or so! All in all, this is a great game!

Rayman's splendidly defined tone, and sense of setting is a rare blessing. This is simply the result of passionate work.
