Good while it lasts

User Rating: 7.5 | Ratchet: Deadlocked PS2
Gameplay: the game plays the same asa any regular Ratchet and Clank, except no clank so you will just have to get used to no jet pack. The vast amount of weapon selection is shortened to about 12 weapons. Each weapon has a potential 99 levels to upgrade. In this game, the planetary system has also changed, you still get to travel from planet to planet but once you enter a planet there is no turning back. In each planet you have a handful of missions to complete, and once you are done with the whole planetary campaign you can go up against extra challenges called dread challenges. Dread challenges are sometimes needed to either progress in the game or to rack up dread points. Every few planets there will be a tournament held back at your containment area (the base planet). At each tournament you will go through a set of arenas which you will have to survive to move on and face the exterminator (basically the boss battles) of the tournament. At the end of each tournament that you have won, your armor will change colors.

Value: This game is very good, and worth your money. For the first time in R&C history you have the choice to choose the difficulty level for the game, and the choice of a difficulty level adds for better replay value. The replay value of Deadlocked is pretty good but the actual game is a lot shorter than a regular R&C game.
