The newest sequel in the Ratchet & Clank series makes a whole new different turn in the series.

User Rating: 8.5 | Ratchet: Deadlocked PS2
Ratchet: Deadlocked takes place right after the events of Up Your Arsenal. Ratchet, Clank, and Al are on the Starship Phoenix and they are captured by robots and are teleported to a fierce arena called the Dreadzone.

All 3 are deadlocked, and if either of them tries to leave the Dreadzone they will be killed. The only way out of the arena is to fight your way to the very end and gain your freedom. You play as Ratchet the whole time without no Clank on your back, instead him and Al are on the sidelines watching you fight.

There are many, many different battles you can participate in, but most of them are your average run and gun shooting. There are many different things to collect in this game such as fighter cards and different skins. You get 2 robots fighters to help you on the battlefield and they do a pretty good job on blowing everything to bits, and they are also really funny too.

There are a few flaws with this game. The 1 player storyline is too short, and if you play on the easier difficulties you can blow past everything in less than 6 hours.

Besides those flaws this game is a very good improvement in the series, the arena announcers are also very funny too, Juaaaaniittaaa. A 8.5 out of 10.
