Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction User Review
Although it's not as good as some Ratchet games, ToD is a solid PS3 game that was fantastic at it's launch.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Just plain fun"
Where do we start?
How about with the gameplay? Good idea.
The gameplay is great. Just great. The weapons are the best in the series overral (including ACiT) and the grind rails, ropes, robo wings, Clank levels, all add up to make it a great platformer.
The soundtrack is also pretty good, with a jumpy, happy soundtrack that'll make you smile again and again. Great stuff David!
The graphics are great for a 2007 game.....but 2010? Weeelll....not so much. I'll leave it at that then.
It's a pretty long game, containing about 18 hours of smashing and great humor with a tiny naught joke in there sometimes....but not as often as the PS2 games (Remember Up Your Arsenal?)
The bad? It feels kind of like a kid's game, and that can be a downput, but it's not that much.
Good:
Great gameplay
Awesome value
Clank levels are fun
Long story
Best weapons in series
First R&C game on PS3
Bad:
Too easy
Clank is annoying
Feels like a kid's game.
Graphics: 7/10
Soundtrack: 8/10
Gameplay/weapons: 9/10
Length: 10/10
Voice acting: 8/10
Story: 6/10
Overral:
8.6
