Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One

User Rating: 8 | Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One PS3
The Ratchet and Clank series has been one of my favorite gaming series. Although I have only played the 3rd game and the Ratchet and Clank "Future" series, I have loved the game since it was released.

When we first purchased a PS3, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One was the first game I got for it (that didn't come with the PS3). I hope the series will be carried on in a 5th game, and I look forward to the Ratchet and Clank movie that's set for 2015.

Now to the actual review part...

Graphics: 9/10 - Awesome, the HD textures to Ratchet made him pretty awesome, but also made our Lombax companion a bit to cute.

Gameplay and Controls: 8/10 - Gameplay was fun.The game felt like a side-scroller in parts, as there was little exploring aspect to the game, unlike the others. The weapons layout I didn't like at all as you couldn't buy ammo for your weapon in the store - only upgrade the capacity in it. And speaking of ammo, it was rarely found in the game. There were only holo-pads were you could renew your supply, instead of breaking open a crate of ammo like in the 3rd game (Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal). Switching off topics, I liked the return of Cronk and Zepher as I found them pretty hilarious in the "Future" series.

Dialogue: Funny in parts, some parts weren't needed. That's all I have to say.

Final Boss Battle: [SPOILER ALERT!] I have to admit, I was surprised that Mr. Dinkles was the final boss. It's not every game that you play that you battle a cute little furry guy that turns out he can talk and blow up stuff at the same time. Very fun when you got to battle the Grivelnox also.

Overall, I give it an 8. Double 4. All 4 One. :D
