When I first heard about this game I was extremely excited. As a long time fisherman, I thought this might be the game that actually does a good job displaying the finer details details of fishing. This game failed terribly. There is many good qualities however. The fish in the game look very good, which is probably where most of the development took place. The underwater camera rotating around the lure is also done fairly well. But, there are too many terrible aspects of this game for me to call it a good one. There is problems with the camera when bringing it through shallow water, which is very disturbing considering the amount of shallow water, which leads me to believe not much time was spent on development. Also, gameplay on anything other than easy is too difficult and takes too much time to play. There is no reason someone should throw a lure out for 30 minutes and not get a single bite. I'm not sure what the developers where thinking when making this game, but they obviously didn't test it with gamers. I doubt they will make another one with how bad this game failed. Hopefully now that next-gen games are coming out we can get a good fishing game, but I wont hold my breath.
