Rapala is hard to play. I got to the 3rd level and I stopped. It is truly a bad fishing game.
Gameplay-As you know, this is a fishing game. You can drive around on relatively small lakes and ponds in the game. You get about 3 different boats, even though they all drive the exact same. This is perhaps the most fun part of the game though. The fishing is horrible. You cast it in, hold L2, and every 4-5 minutes, you'll get a fish. And when you do get the fish, the game is sooooooo hard that you won't have it on there for very long unless it's a really easy fish. The fishing is pretty much luck. If you have a big strong fish on your line, chances are that you'll won't land it. I really can't say how much this game sucks.
Graphics-Flat out the only good thing about the game, along with maybe the info on the lures. The water looks nice and liquidy and the environments are pretty nice too. There are even some bears and dears you can see in the distance feeding. Everything looks kind of pixley though.
Sound-There are only 3 songs in the game. The intro song (which is actually the only good sound in the game) the menu music, and the game music. The second two are pretty bad, especially the fishing music. The game noises are bad too. When you are reeling, all you can hear is the bloody clicking of your rod. ARGH!!!! It is SOO annoying. The character voice of the guy next to you is really annoying too because he keeps yelling bad jokes and insults at you and give you pointers. The sound is pretty crisp and clear though. Thank God
Value-Since the game is so hard to play, both in fun and in it's difficulty, you won't play this much. I have probably only played it 4 hours total. No multiplayer either.
This is truly a terrible game. I couldn't imagine any other fishing game this bad. Do not touch this game. Oh and I forgot to mention that this made me not want to fish at all.
