Multiplayer Heaven

OMFG I got to play this game today at the arcacde. I didn't expect to play it when I first went in but it caught my eye. My friend and I started to play and were hooked. We spent $5 playing in about half a hour. This may be one of the best games in the arcades.

The gameplay is great. The fact that you can have up to 3 monsters on screen at one time. Co-op is one of the best reason to play this game because there is 3 buttons so everyone can play without diffuculty. The moves are the basic punch, kick, and jump. Some moves can be used together to make better moves like eating people. There is a story but no one cares because you go from city to city tring to cause the most damage with your creatures. The enemies aren't the smartest thing out there but some of them can easily get you mad because they like to use anything to kill you and your other monsters. One part in the gameplay that i didn't like is the fact that you die to easy no matter how good you are in the later levels because of the tanks, helicopters, and people with jetpacks. Yet it is a great experince gameplay wise.

The game came out in the 80s but are still looks better than some of the games of that time. To tell you the truth it actaully looks better than some of todays games. The graphics aren't RE4 or MP but are still better than some games today. The buildings look ok but are in 2d while the monsters look 3d so they don't mix perfect. The graphics may be the weakest part of the game but that is mostly because of the time the game came out.
The sound is basically just your guy screaming in pain which you really can't here in loud arcades that get alot of people. The sound may be good but sadly I didn't get to here much because of everyone around playing the other games which you can here the sound of.

I really don't think anyone is going to go out and buy this game because of the price of the arcade games but there are home versions that you may want to check out if you like Rampage but don't have the money for the arcade version. It is still a great game which I beleive people need to check out.
