One of the most addictive and enjoyable driving game ever to be released.

I have to be honest, the only reason why I've wanted this game for so long was the graphics. The graphics caught my eyes. I don't know anything about Rallisport, and I'm not very interested in racing games. When I finally got to play this game, I said to myself that I need this game. Trust me, you don't have to like or know anything about Rallisport to like this game. Gameplay: Well lets start things off with gameplay. The gameplay in this game is much more arcade oriented than simulation. Sometimes thats a good thing. This fast-paced style gameplay can be very addicting and very unrealistic. Although the hardcore Rallisport gamers or racers will be the only ones always reminding you that. With that said, I enjoyed the gameplay. If the game was too realistic like the GT series I would be bored. I don't want to be driving the same way I drive in real life. Anyway, the formula put into this game's gameplay is near perfection. It will make you want to come back whether you finished the game or don't have Xbox Live. When you crash your car, or go outside the track you can still drive your way back, which I think was a cool idea. Of course if you go too far away from the track, it will automatically put you back in the track. Also you can press the white button. It can be strategic at times because you don't know whether or not to get back on the road youself will be faster. Sometimes the gameplay gets frustrating, you can't go too fast without crashing into something. You got to use those breaks a lot and thats fine with me, but a little annoying. Anyways, I think the gameplay was near perfection for casual gamers but definitely not for hardcore Rallisport gamers or racers. Graphics: The graphics in this game are amazing. Probably the best looking racing game you'll see until the next-gen consoles come out. The cars look very real and are very detailed. When you are on a dusty track, your car will get dustier and dustier and same thing goes when you are on a muddy and icy track. Small details like these make the game far more realistic graphically than most racing games. The damage models are awesome. Your window will break, the back of your bumper will be hanging and many other detailed crashed models in this game make it look precise and that your car is actually messed up in real life. The whether affects are the best I've seen in any game. It looks so real. When its raining, you'll have rain drops on your screen, and the fog looks real too. I don't know what else to say, this game's graphics are amazing and one of the best graphics seen on any console. Sound: Sound is very important for any game to me. The sound in this game is impressive, though not the best. I like the fact that you can use your own music. I also like the way the rain is sounded in this game, makes me feel like its really raining outside or something. Each car in this game has its own engine or sound. Sometimes the sound gets a little scratchy and makes you want to turn down your TV. The sound isn't perfect, but still impressive. Career: This game's career is pretty much plain and mediocre. I mean its good for unlocking cars and track, but it is not in-depth at all. All you're doing is racing others or getting timed. Though thats all fun, but I would like to have manager options to make decisions on sponsors or get a new driver. And the other weird thing is that you drive different cars from different countries. You don't get to pick a certain race for your driver to represent. You don't even get to stick with one car to make changes on it and tune it up. Unfortunatley the Career mode is disappointing, but still fun. You should try it. If you don't like it, then just keep playing to unlock cars, tracks, and skins for the cars. Conclusion: This game is awesome. You can play up to 16 players on Xbox Live which adds a lot of replay value to the game. From the gameplay, to the sound, the game is very impressive. The controls are also very precise and should only take you about 5-10 minutes to get used to. A lot of talent has been put on to this game and I think everyone should try it. The only people I think won't like this game are the hardcore racing fans.
