When I first started the game, I wasn't impressed. Characters had a Duke Nukem voice at first, which led me to believe that I was going to hate the game. But after playing for a few more hours the game grew on me. RAGE is easily one of the best shooters I have played. In fact, if it were not for Far Cry 3, this game would be the best shooter I have played. People like to say the game is short, but I finished the main story and the Scorchers DLC in 20 hours and 29 mins. Pretty good game time if you consider the price now.

RAGE may not have the deepest story, but everything else about the game is awesome. Enemy AI is the biggest bragging right the developers have. If you shoot a enemy in the foot, they will react like they got shot in the foot. You can create turrets, bots, different ammo types ect. Wingsticks are a man's best friend, and awesome to use. Racing feels kind of weak when you first start, but when you start winning race tokens to upgrade your vehicles, races become awesome too. Controls feel great with both shooting and racing. Everything about the game is just great. Like I said, Rage doesn't have a deep story, but you will be drawn into the world of Rage. The graphics are really great too. Some of the best I've seen really. The only con I can think of is the ending sucked. No boss or anything. But still a great game.

Just do yourself a favor, and buy Rage Anarchy Edition, and The Scorchers DLC. It's cheap, and very fun. The DLC is only $5 and Rage Anarchy Edition is only around $15. It's the most fun you can buy for $20.
