This game sucks...(please don't kill me!)

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but this game is terrible. First off, I've never been a fan of the TOCA Race Driver Series. The games lacked the variety of cars and vehicle upgrades necessary to add depth to this game series. Not only that, but the cars have really poor handling (or super realistic, depending on your opinion.)

This game is no different. Although a single-player arcade mode was added, as well as a wireless Ad-Hoc mode, this game still feels hollow as a whole package.

PROS:

Decent visuals

Lots to do

Licensed vehicles & tracks

CONS:

No upgradable parts to purchase

Linear Career path

Not enough vehicles

The cars handle like a wet soap bar on a tile floor

Dull & repetitive (the game as a whole)

Load times (but what PSP games don't)

BOTTOM LINE:

If you enjoyed any of the previous TOCA Race Car games (especially TOCA 2,) you will like this game. If you've never played any TOCA game before, please rent this first before purchasing it.

This game could be as great as Forza Mototsport, Gran Turismo, and Project Gotham Racing, but TOCA needs a lot of improvement to get to the ranks of its competition.
