R.U.S.E. User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right

- The Bottom Line:
- "Highly addictive"
This RTS has the perfect balance of Macro, Micro, Strategic, and Tactical managements.
-----
When units have stats such as
* Price
* Range
* Speed
* Specific targets it can target
* Different damages to different targets
* Turreted, non-turreted
* Can go in woods or not
* Other factors
..you can imagine how the Micro-ing & Tactical portion of this game shines.
-----
When, fighting for depots(source of economy and money), which have been strategically placed depending on the map , you can imagine where the Economic portion of this game shines.
-----
When choosing from different factions whose strengths and weaknesses differ from each other, you can imagine where the Strategy of this game shines.
-----
When the ruse engine allows for unlimited units on the field, and gives the player a unique interface in which to deal with those units, you can imagine how the Macro mangement of this game shines.
-----
Now mish-mash all of these elements together, with 7 factions to choose from, and a bevy of well designed multiplayer maps, and you will get a great multiplayer experience.
Despite some of the bugs or flaws in the matchmaking and UI, I would have to say, this is my favorite RTS I've ever played.

As I wrap up the campaign, RUSE certainly has its charm, and is one of the most unique RTS I've played in a long while.

Some strategy elements make it feel unique, but still RUSE is an incomplete mess and excuse for a strategy game.
