An RTS-type game that anyone can pickup and play. Solid gameplay, no noticeable bugs. Great graphics and sound.

User Rating: 8.5 | R.U.S.E. PC
Gameplay: It has your traditional building mechanics that you will expect in any strategy game. It's really easy to get used to. The controls are simple and the units are easy to figure where to place them on the battlefield.
The name says it all, a RUSE is list of special abilities. You can select the spy card and activate it on a enemy controlled section (any section for that matter, but if you have units in the area it isn't worth it and comes natural) and be able to view all the enemy units - hidden or public. Which is far fetched, but it makes the game fun. There is a time clock counting down for each RUSE card.
What Ubisoft has here is 'not' a revolutionary RTS game, but rather a SOLID game that delivers. No more, no less. Its really fun though, but I don't find myself addicted to it like World in Conflict or Company of Heroes.

Units: There are your common classes of units. Tanks, aircraft, infantry.. mobile artillery, etc.. -And then you have your "advanced" or "prototype" units. This is what really makes the game stand out from the rest of the WW2 genre. For example, you can rein down a heavy attack from your atomic artillery. -Within each class you have (as I put it, sub classes lol) You got bombers, fighters, recon planes, light tanks, medium tanks, heavy tanks, tank destroyers and even "long range" tank destroyers. Each unit has a weakness and advantageous scale.

I find my favorite unit to be the infantry, although small, you hide them in the forests and wait for the tanks (or any unit for that matter) to come along down the road, and with a shot of your bazooka, the once "Tiger Tank" is now swiftly destroyed.

Buildings: You have your standard barracks, airstrip, tank depot, anti-tank depot (stupid for 2 separate depots, but I suppose its to balance it.), among other buildings, you got your Anti-Tank in placement. Much like the Company of Heroes MG nest, expect with a cannon. The game even features a MG nest.

Then you got randomly placed "supply depots" around the map. The supply depots have a certain amount of resources though, which is understandable. You would be able to pump out as many units as you can with 1 depot, very understandable.
You can also capture the enemy's buildings with infantry units.
There is alot more to add, but I suggest playing the demo and if you like it, buy it!

Graphics: The game is really smooth, I can zoom in and out with no noticeable problems. Unit detail isn't too much because you can't zoom ALL THE WAY down. I don't need to, but that's the only thing. Explosions are really nice. Smoke and dust render very good. There is no blood.

Online: I haven't tested it yet. I mainly only cover single-player. Online is totally new beast in this day and age.
