Driving a cab in a futuristc, dystopian and utterly misantrhopic waste dump of a city. Sounds like fun ? Hell Yeah !

Quarantine was one of these odd experiences I had with quite a few games back in the days. I never finished it, because I enjoyed roaming around the game world causing general mayhem (the story of my life) Just like in GTA or Carmageddon, the game does nt put shackles on your wrists and you are free to engage in whatever weird activity you want.

Well, as long as you are willing to drive a cab. And we are not talking some honk-smashing bored cab driver in traffic jammed NY. Nope, you are driving a cab in a futuristc, dystopian and utterly misanthropic waste dump of a city. (Think a dirtier version of Blade Runner).

As you drive around and pick up passengers (or maybe drive over them), you are rewarded money, depending on the time it took you to deliver the person to his respective location of desire. The driving part is incredible fun and pretty easy (not nearly as sophisticated as NFS games, no way). But it is not only the driving, that calls for your attention. You can also buy and upgrade parts of your vehicle and that includes some pretty twisted weapon systems (minigun on your roof anyone).

All in all, the game is lots of fun and should appeal to everyone interested in "driving" games with a twist, such as GTA or Carmageddon.

Good one !
