PlayStation 2 can pull it off......This is a must for FPS fans who own a PlayStation 2.
I finally managed to find time and play this game to the end. And I had loads of great fun. Quake has always been one of my favorite FPS of all time.
GAMEPLAY
Just like Quake as we know has awesome gameplay. With adwomen weapons to chose from and blast your opponents with. The all out fun Deathmatch and Capture the Flag modes are there. With 30 Arenas to go around, and blow out your opponents. For PC games it will take time to get use to the PlayStation 2 controller, but it worked just fine for me.
GRAPHICS
The texturing is so well done. Some nice reflections and effects going on trough out the arenas. All have nice lighting and opponents burst to peaces as they are shot. Everything looks cleat and is easy to see. Characters are nicely models and the levels are designed perfectly.
SOUND
All the weapons have sound fx. The explosions and the enemies voices as they are shot sound great. the gun shots, footsteps, and all level sound fx sound amazing. The music is well oriented to the action and this game offers some good music tunes.
OVERALL
Thou a PC gamer would likely find something to complain about. This game is by far one of the best FPS out on the Playstation 2 just for plain fun and awesome gameplay. This is worth all the time
