Quake II

Quake II picked up where Quake left off,and set the standard for multiplayer shooters.

Quake II,ahh,the memories.This was THE game to play online.Online PC gamers were all playing this title.Deathmatch,CTF,co-op...this game had all the known multiplayer modes,and a ton of third party mods...Jailbreak and team fortress being the most memorable to me,but there were ALOT...like 20 or more.There was even a 'southpark' mod that changed the players into fourth graders."you killed kenny",you can imagine the fun.

The game was easy to mod by the way,the makers intended it to be.The mods made the replay value outstanding.

The graphics would be dated by todays standards,but the gameplay was so good,i think i could still play it.I owned it,but havn't seen it lying around...i think i'll go dig it up.They should have a revival Quake II tourney for old times sake.I think it'd have a good turnout.
