The game that I played only when I had nothing else to play - Q*Bert.

User Rating: 4.5 | Q*bert PS
So this review is about Q*Bert, as you can see. Now, before I start off, i'd like to say that I only played this game when I was around 6-8, so my memory might be a bit dim. But please, bear with me.
So lets start off with the graphics. Not very good mapping, looks like a simple remake of an Optical Illusion. If I remember correctly, nothing was really revolutionary about Q*Bert at all. (3.5)
Well lets see, the music and soundtrack. The only music I remember about Q*Bert at all was when he jumped, he made a hopping noise. They could have added just a little bit more, at least some background music to keep the gamer from not falling asleep. (1.5)
The dialogue, as I remember, is Q*Bert cussing when he failed at some point. I remember it being something like, in a speech bubble: (!#@%^#%^&!) But then again, what kind of dialogue can you made with an orange blob with a horn coming out of his face? Besides, him cussing made me laugh at some point. (3.0)
The gameplay, now. The gameplay's story was to save your blob with a horn, (Q*Bert's) girlfriend, in a screwed up world. So now the gameplay itself. All you would do, is jump on something that once again, looked like an Optical Illusion, and make all of the map one single color to pass the map. Now, this is something that would keep a gamer that never gave up interested, but not a young gamer. A young gamer would play for five minutes and say, "Mommy, this is borrinngg!" Besides the hard working kids. So in total, i'd rate it an E for Everyone. (4.0)
