A Puzzle game RPG style, or you can say... an RPG game Puzzle style! What?!

This is one of the most innovative cross-genre games that I've played, and it's addictive. If you've played Bejeweled before, the 3-of-a-kind puzzle battles would pose no problems to you. Even if not, after just 2 or 3 tutorial battles, and you're all set to conquer the game. Furthermore, the popular puzzle mechanics would have hooked you for the next 100 battles.

The thing is, it doesn't end there. Of course, there's the RPG element in the puzzle battles, which are the witty magic spells that affects the standard gameplay, adding spice to the already engaging puzzle formula. That should set you up for another 100 battles. The problem is, I didn't say it would finish there. Well, you could be halfway there. Yup, the single-player quest is stupidly long, which translates to hundreds and hundreds of battles, if you count in the side quests.

For the RPG factor, there are stats boosting rare and unique items for the loot junkies, and then there is a castle upgrading feature for alchemy stuff, spell learning and levelups for your pets, which vaguely reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic. Which goes to say, there are tons of stuff to do here... all through puzzles! The music is surprisingly sweeping and pompous, which sets you in the mood for a fantasy adventure much like Final Fantasy, an A+ for that. Despite the repetitive puzzle gameplay, it's still strangely addictive.

The next thing these guys can think of would be Pong Quest.
