In the Pursuit of a Good game this is the force to go with
First off the gameplay is its strongest point. You are a special cop charged with cleaning up the streets of capitol city. Youve got to take down certain gangs to get control of the town back. Its no easy task as you leap from car to car, bus to bus, and even motorcycle to motorcycle. The controls are smooth and the handling of each vehicle is nice. Youll often get advice (i think) from the chief of police and some mystery female. you take down criminals by jumping from cars to other vehicles. By doing so you kill and apprehend criminals one by one. There is some veriety in mission too as sometime your on foot and on boat. to put it short its fun.
The Graphics are pretty hot for the little screen. The cars have great detail, the motion of you jumping from vehicle to vehicle looks great. The back grounds are lush and varied also. Some clipping issues abound, but nothing you cant get around. There is a great selection of cars, boats, bikes, and buses to get you going. Simply nice is a way to put it in short.
The sound is a mixed bag though. The lines while well dilivered are a intentionally corny especially the chief of police (he is so overbearing) for him I say What the Heck? sound effects are good as you can here the difference in the weapons and the crashing of the cars as they hit together. Other sounds are great hear and there but no real music in this one. The Value of this game is medium if you ask me while you have a good career and get to race in time trials and other things youll unlock them pretty fast just by doing the career mode. It will entertain you for a while though as you can try to beat yours and others best time on races. All in all this game is a gem and shouldnt be missed. At least in my opinion its a great way to start off playing the PSP. It has the total package. So when yhour looking for a way to be a pig in a good light then get this game. PEACE
