Explosive action packed game, and the best that the PSP has to offer.
The game is basically all about driving cars at high speed, shooting bad guys and jumping from car to car while shooting the driver with a machine gun to the head. Impressed? I though so.
Pursuit Force doesnt fall behind in any aspect compared to all the other PSP games. This game really feels designed for the PSP and the gameplay is perfect , not too complicated, but still not too easy and simple.
Audio in this game, is just perfect. The voice acting in the game is terrific, for the most part. Some characters and gang members have really nothing interesting (nor smart) to say, and they are just babbling nonsense all the time, though most of the characters still have great voices. The music (only 2 songs in the game) is great! Awesome car chase, and action music that will not leave you cold in any way. The only negative thing I can come up with this game are the on foot battles. The lack of a second analog stick makes it hard to aim and just makes the whole thing a bit annoying. Shooting guys in the head is still fun, but the clumsy moving just makes moving on foot a bit more harder.
Story: 8/10 Perhaps the most forgettable part about the game (still doesnt make it bad though).
Im not going to spoil the story for you, so lets just say its pretty average.
Audio 10/10 Great audio in every way! The voice acting really spices the battles and car chases, and the music is just terrific. The music is great because its really made for the game and just suits it perfectly.
Graphics 9/10 Pursuit Force: EJ has terrific graphics for a PSP game, but you will see some graphical glitches here and there (the road disappearing in the middle of a drive).
Gameplay 9/10 The gameplay is perfect in almost every way. The only reason the gameplay
did not get 10/10 is because of the on foot movement. The gameplay is really designed for the PSP and its easy to learn.
Conclusion: If you own the PSP there is no reason why you shouldnt get this game! In fact because the PSP lacks of great games like this, your collection will not be perfect without Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice!
