Indie games are cool. I like that almost every indie tries to be innovative.

Well, I think we all knew that Andy Schatz was a very likely winner of the grand price, and he deserves it. Monaco looks stunning so far.

Wtf that guy in the beginning is pissed off? The winner's walkin and out music is horrible. Heroes of Newerth seems to be the most well made Indie game ! Indie Man FTW!

I love indie game, but sadly I hear for not many of them so I play like 10 per year :( but I'm really glad that they are trying and succeeding and the prize that the winner gets helps them a lot :)

there should be more indie games...

I was almost getting tired of seeing Uncharted 2 win the awards. Best use of the letter U goes to Uncharted. Best use of a number: uncharted. Best non indie game. etc.

Uncharted IS the game! For me, is one of the best of all times, and certanly the best for PS3, and one of the best of this generation...

Indie games have that uniqueness and intuitivity to them that games produced by big companies don't. For me, indie games often offer the greatest experience of them all!

Would have been nice to have an announcement or mail that this would be live there Gamespot.

Hooray for independent games!! :) You gotta love some of these ideas, they're so much more original than most of the big company's games. Congrats for the winners and well, to all of them really! Keep it up ;)
