At last, the Xbox has a platformer worth writing about. This is a fantastic game, innovative in its story line, immersive, fun, and a great value. Truly under-appreciated, as pointed out in the various "Best of..." awards for 2005 here on Gamespot. If you don't own this game, go buy and vote for more games like this with your dollars. The characters, voice acting, puzzles and style of gameplay are fantastic. In particular, the manner in which the game introduces you to all of your talents and skills through the earning of merit badges during the story frees you up from the often monotonous, repetitive training grounds so many games have. You learn on the run, literally.
If you've enjoyed games such as Grim Fandango or Full Throttle, you're sure to love this game, developed by the same man behind those great titles.
Tim Schafer and everyone involved with this game deserves a lot of credit.
