While not widely known outside of Japan and Asia, Red Entertainment worked on several role-playing games back in the late '90s, such as the Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden) and Sakura Wars series, with the company's most recent game being Nostalgia for the DS. Recently, Shanghai-based game developer Ultizen Games Limited has announced its acquisition of the Japanese game development company.

Concerning future plans, UltiZen will be working closely with Red Entertainment to develop games for the PC and Android platform. Both companies plan to develop five titles for 2011.

UltiZen is known for creating the U-Pal casual game platform for the Chinese market currently running in six provinces of China. The company also released an Xbox Live arcade game called Crazy Mouse in 2008.
