FIFA Street 2 headed to retail

Electronic Arts hopes to score with second installment of its over-the-top, arcade-style take on soccer.

Electronic Arts announced its return to the blacktop today, as FIFA Street 2 has shipped to retailers for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP, and Nintendo DS. The game returns to the flashy brand of four-on-four soccer EA introduced in last year's FIFA Street, with an emphasis on over-the-top moves and arcade action. New for the sequel are an expanded array of tricks, reworked gamebreakers, new signature moves for pro players, in-game juggling, and a new trick-stick system. FIFA Street 2 is rated E for Everyone and retails for $29.99, except for the PSP version, which carries a $39.99 price tag. Check back soon for GameSpot's full review.

Hope that they fix the control problem from the first one, I would not mind playing it on the Ds.

Yea, the Nintendo DS one doesn't look that good, and I was really hoping for a good soccer game for my Nintendo DS. I guess I can just buy it for my my PS2 or my Gamecube.

i hope this is good. I'll know when gamespot gives it a review. I really don't like some kinds of games especially soccer but if it's good i'll probably give it a shot.

The First one had too many problems to warrant a purchase, hopefully the boys at EA fixed the problems.
