AU Shippin' Out September 29-October 3: FIFA Soccer 09

EA kick off the virtual soccer season for 2009.

It's that time of year again, when EA Sports is busy releasing its annual franchises for the upcoming seasons. With Madden and NHL already out, it's FIFA Soccer 09's time to shine when it hits stores in Australia on Thursday on all current-gen platforms. One of the biggest new features over last year's game is the new Adidas Live Season, where PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC owners will be able to download frequent player statistic updates for six leagues in the game Sadly, Australia's the A-League isn't one of them. Other additions include the 10v10 "Be a Pro"" online multiplayer, user-controlled celebrations, and a 42-song soundtrack.

When people think Disney, they probably don't jump straight to off-road racing, which is fair enough. Continuing with the company’s tradition of expanding its games division, Disney Interactive’s latest game--Pure--is an ATV off-road racer along the lines of MotorStorm. It features 12 tracks, a variety of tricks, and moves that players can execute in the air, as well as 16-player competitive online multiplayer. Pure is also one of the first games to offer players the chance to fully customise their ATVs, right down to the colour of the roll cage. Expect to see Pure in stores on October 2.

    I played the game and the graphics are horrible. That's all I got to say. Time to make a new engine EA...

    hope for PS2 VERSION improve more on gameplay.. if PES 2009 still not good , i will forcus on FIFA 2009... ,me too cant wait too....

    bah the usa demo is broken for me doesnt work the mobvement keys dont work

    Note that cdv will not be releasing Sacred 2 in North America until November (this has been confirmed by the publisher and developer, Ascaron; please visit their respective websites, especially Ascaron's forums for details). Release dates for Sacred 2 around the world are in a bit of a turmoil, so check your local release date carefully.

    PC versions and the console versions are coming at different times for a number of locales, too, so that compounds some of the confusion.

    I wish FIFA was coming out the same time everywhere, but I would agree that Europe deserves it first, and Australia usually gets screwed over, so it seems fair enough.

    Hmm, nothing there, and I can only assume that iMPACT! for Wii will be much worse than the 360 version.

    I still thinking about whether I want to buy Mega Man 9 for XBLA this week, despite knowing that I'm really going to hate it's difficulty!
