AU Shippin' Out May 5-9: Wii Fit
Let's get physical, physical.
With the release of Grand Theft Auto IV only a week ago, it's hard for publishers and distributors to compete--hence the fact that Australia is seeing only a handful of releases this week. The biggest of those is Wii Fit, which ships with the Wii balance board peripheral. It's a fairly simple concept, where the players use the Wii balance board to measure their weight and balance, as well perform a series of exercises and games.
The various activities are divided into four categories: aerobic exercise, muscle workouts, yoga poses, and balance games. They range from head-butting soccer balls to hula hooping. If you don't feel like doing a full workout but still want to have a quick game, you can jump into any of the 40 exercises, at any time. Wii Fit will be available this Thursday for A$149.95 ($137).
This week's new releases are listed below (list taken from retailer and publisher information--actual dates may vary).
