    cloud is great but hes not the greatest hero in square enix.
    each of them had their own charm so basically there is no main square enix hero

    Give me someone who can kill bahamut single-handedly without any help,don't tell me mario or snake because they can't do $*** against this kind of monster,if there's anyone who can get the job done its only cloud.

    @CloudStrife97 look im a fan of FF7 but im not soo blinded by all that FAN BOY B*** S*** that i cant see the truth i mean hes not even the best FF charater and the most badass villain is in 8 becuse she could control TIME!!!! sepiroth *misspell* aint got nothing on that the only reason every body like him is because of that d*** movie that was nothing but a fan service

    Um, using Advent Children's MOVIE scenes for what should be a VIDEO GAME showcase of a FF character is unfair and quite inappropriate.

    Cloud is NOT overrated. He has super human strength, can weild a sword as big as his body, and has a buttload of special abilities, most of the other heroes in the games have guns, or stealth, or jump on peoples heads (sry mario) but Cloud actually has abilities and a backstory. He has Materia, his sword and the will to fight, not to mention a great cast of friends that he lead to save the world. He is a leader who had some memory issues but pulled it together to save the world from the most badass villain from ANY game. Cloud FTW!

    The fact that this video uses only cinematic-quality clips to back up its statement that Cloud is the best hero of video gaming is just simply a poor judgment choice. I mean, is this Gamespot or Moviespot? Show some gameplay, for crying out loud, instead of just trying to think that he's a great character simply because of Square Enix's cinematic skills.

    Let's not confuse Cloud with his often overzealous fan base. He's badass, and as a character he's still one of the better ones in the series. Yeah he gets put on a pedestal a bit, but he's still a great video game character.

    ahh man i love the bass fight theme they are playing in the back ground... probably my favorite from that game, even though all the music is pretty good... i really wish they would remake the game for the PS3... that would be epic
