EA, Namco bring movie titles to Europe

Curious George and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift to be released in second half of 2006.

Electronic Arts and Namco Bandai have announced a deal to copublish two games based on Universal Pictures movies in Europe. Curious George will be available in October 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance and will put players in the shoes of the eponymous monkey. All of the levels will be based on the animated film, and the adventure begins when George follows The Man With the Yellow Hat from the jungle back to the city.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift will be released in the third quarter of 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable and is set in the Japanese underground drift racing scene. The game will feature extensive vehicle customisation and a "drift" driving model.

So they ARE calling it "Tokyo Drift". I thought they weren't, so if the movie blows the game would still sell... O well, dosn't look that good anyway. TF&TF:TD looks cool only for the stunts...storyline Is probably shyt.

the fast and the furious will be interesting to see because there are many other game like that film so they will have to change sertain aspects of the game to try and make it original and want people to get it.

All the headline had to read was "movie titles brought to Europe" and I would've known EA was behind it.
