A: No. There is no Aerial Unit. I'm sorry, I wanted one too but the screens were from a very long time ago and the developers found that they were either unnecessary or too hard to fit in.
Q: When is this going to be released?
A: Japan: 12/20/07
Europe: 2/22/08
US: 2/26/08
Australia: 2/28/08
Q: Well, what version do you recommend?
A: Whatever language you speak. There is little to no difference except for a weapon or two. It changes the gameplay not at all.
Q: How long is this game gonna take?
A: Roughly 15 to 20 hours. 15 to 20 hours of FUN that is. *Queue F.U.N. Song by Sponge-bob.*
Q: What do I do?!?! What is this stupid Rain Miracle thing?
A: First off, you should have all of the face buttons unlocked by now. Then, you have to get the water miracle. Go to the level with the totem pole in the beginning, I believe it's the first hunting level. Right in the beginning of the level, it should be there. Get up close to it and press the sequence on the pole. For me it was /\ O /\ O. I don't know if it's random or not, but there it is. That is the Rain Miracle. Next is for the Don Drum itself. Then a new mission will be unlocked. There will be a boss battle against a red ..... dinosaur??? Beat that and receive the drum. Then you can go to the desert level where you encounter a tutorial. REMEMBER THE BEAT! Get it stuck in your head. Dum Dadum Dadum. Then, once you enter the "miracle mode" as I like to call it: YOU HAVE TO PRESS THE O BUTTON. NOT THE X BUTTON. Until the end where there is a "pata." Pata = [ ].
Q: I HATE FEVER! I can't keep a rhythm... :'(
A: I recommend tapping you foot/bobbing your head/tapping finger/singing/bobbing PSP. I personally tap foot and bob PSP w/ an occasional singing

A: Meat: Level 1: Kill boars in first hunting area.
Level 2: Kill black birds in second hunting area.
Level 3: Kill pink birds in second last and/or last hunting area.
Level 4: Kill golden bird on second last and/or last hunting area when rain has STOPPED!
Rock: Level 1: Kill monsters in first few hunting stages.
Level 2: Play Mountain Baby Mini-game and miss a beat.
Level 3: Play Mountain Baby Mini-game and DON'T mill a beat.
Level 4: Defeat Sand worm or Robot bosses.
Wood: Level 1: Tree Mini-game or boars in first few hunting areas.
Level 2: Tree Mini-game
Level 3: Kill birds or boars in hunting stages.
Level 4: Kill Robot boss.
Metal: Level 1: Kill yellow crabs in last few hunting stages.
Level 2: Kill yellow crabs in last few hunting stages.
Level 3: Kill yellow crabs in last few hunting stages.
Level 4: Blacksmith game after getting all golden armor and weapons. You have to use a level 4 Rock as well.

1. Get your hands on the demo (available at your local GameStop when you pre-order Patapon).
2. Play through the demo, save your progress.
3. Play, replay and replay everyday until Feb 26th (ok, you don't really have to do this).
4. Come Feb. 26th, pick up a retail copy (you can pick one up for a friend too... its just 20 ka-ching).
5. Load save file, and start off where the demo ended.
6. Point and laugh at everybody else who didn't play the demo and will have to start from the beginning AND they won't have the super-cool-demo-only "SPEAR OF PROTECTION" that will transfer to the final game once you load the save data.
7. Progress onto Earthend.
8. Check "must play Patapon" off things-to-accomplish-this-year list.
Q: What is the BEST place for quick Ka-Ching?
A: Well, there are two. And it depends on where you are in the game:
1. If it is early early early on in the game: Go to the first hunting grounds where there should be roughly 6 beasts. Kill them all. Use Spearmen or Archers because the Axemen will scare everything away. Also, there is a flower in the hunting grounds that comes up if you have fever. Attack that to make an extra 100 Ka-Ching or so. In the end you'll have 200~ish Ka-Ching.
2. The more efficient way is to play through the game until you reach a level where they talk about a "Shooting Star." Wait on that level ( 5 or 6 hunting ground I think ) for it to stop raining. Kill the next animal that pops up and it should release a star worth 800 KA-CHING!!
Q: How do I make *Insert Armsman here*?

YTou need to defeat the plant boss, after defeating it you will get an item called Dark Palace Model. Now go an defeat the Dark Palace Guardian boss and it will drop the storm miracle.

- Feb 19, 2008 1:02 pm PTDoesn't matter if they are repetitive or not. To get 100% on LocoRoco you will most likely have to play levels more than once yet it would still be nice to know the total number of levels in the game. The same can be said with just about any game.
I'm not saying I really care about the number of levels just that you will probably get people on here asking about it and well this is a FAQ you put together. You could always say there are X number of levels however, you will need to replay previous levels for more resorces or to advance through the game.

- Feb 19, 2008 1:36 pm PTGo back to the desert level and kill the snail. It should still show up if you missed it the first time. And to make you men stronger, you have to upgrade either them ( and by upgrade I mean RETIRE and make a new one ) or to upgrade their weapons.

Retire your basics (white) to make room for the colored ones you should make at the Tree of Life (Maker: How original). Later, when you can make even better ones, you may in fact have to retire some of your colors.
