Daily Downloads: The Darkness and Battlefield 2142

Delve into The Darkness with these wallpapers, screensavers, and icons, and test the next generation of warfare's upcoming update.

Fans of Starbreeze's newly released first-person shooter The Darkness can now download wallpapers, instant messenger icons, and screensavers featuring Jackie and his titular supernatural ally.

EA Games' Battlefield 2142 has received a new beta patch, updating the game to version 1.40. This patch, in both full and incremental flavors, includes a new map, an autosave to kit customizations, and an exploit fix, as well as the usual game tweaks. Please note that this patch is in beta form.

A new demo for Bee Movie Game is also available on GameSpot, as is a wallpaper pack for Jackass the Game and patches for Desperate Housewives: The Game, Theatre of War, and Loki.

    After all the crap that BF2142 gets for being to gamy I love it to death. The new exploit fix for the arty will cut down the spaming big time in the game. I'm also glad they are giveing us a new map and game mode for free!

    YAY new BF 2142 map!!!
    But i think i'll wait for the actual patch (not a big fan of betas)

    It's clearly written there; full patch for a game that's never patched before. "Incremental" patch is for a game that's patched. In this case, for BF2142 that's patched to version 1.25

    BF2142 1.40 patch that doesn't address many of the current exploits. In fact, it appears they are going to enhance some game "skills" in order to bump up player griefing. Can't wait.

    Jackass the Game? That's got to be one of the worst ideas ever. Its probably going to be the first game with full male frontal nudity so maybe the ladies will like it.
