    Why don't they take a look at N64 No Mercy? That was probably the best wrestling game ever. I would still play that now over this nonsense.

    This is one gameplay movie. You can't judge the whole game based on one gameplay movie... that's just stupid. I haven't gotten a WWE game since SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006 because 2007 sucked so much... but this looks a lot better, all in all. Although I think I will miss the generic story-lines... they could have picked better Superstars to do stories for.

    And I hope the Create-A-Superstar will have better female options, so I don't have to make a degrading slutty chick. Give us girls more options!!!

    I want to like this game and want to believe it will be a significant change from previous versions but all these gameplay videos kill my hope. I'd like them to break this series, start fresh. Wasn't it supposed to end like 2 years ago or something? They need new, innovative and creative employees at THQ to make a GREAT wrestling game and quit this half-assed crap sugarcoated in sharper graphics and one new mediocre feature. They can't possibly be planning on "Smackdown vs. RAW 2010". What a garbage title and man, nobody is going to get it except the hardcore guys, only to say that they own every wrestling game in existance.

    Aside from the inferno match, why do I see the exact same gameplay and moves from last years. And hey, why did I see the same thing last year that I saw the year before. And while we're at it, why did I see 2 years ago, the same game I saw the year before that? I love wrestling games, and I LOVED yukes since Power Move Pro Wrestling on PS One, BUT CMON!! You cant keep doing the same thing!!! Tweak it already!!! Every year we get a smaller and more out dated roster than the year before. We get the same moves and last year's even took some away!! Not only that, but last year they took away the focus button!!! What the hell is up with that?! Are they telling me they actually think it will be more fun for me if THEY pick who I want to hit?

    Fix this AND FAST. Otherwise those kids sueing EA for abusing their exclusive license with the NFL, might come to realize that THQ is FAR WORSE!!

    END RANT.

    Yo this is gonna be the hawdest Smackdown game ever... It has the Inferno match!! its like the second game to have it, the first being WrestleMania 2000 for the N64. I dont watch wrestling anymore but I do follow the games. I've played Smackdown games since the PSone and in my opinion it gets better every year. Now all they need is a create a Titantron Video mode... lmao... im serious....

    I don't like the look of this match. they have yet to get a gimmick match right in these games. At least the Table match improved a bit. That being said, i do like that they try the, they serve as a diversion during the season mode witch needs more diverse stories. Maybe a different story depending on what division you are in.

    why is it so stiff!! when they are close to the rope, they are so stiff.. the rope dosent even bend, and everything is happening way to fast!! i cant feel the pain, and thats the major part of wresteling

    Please THQ, for all of us, pass the WWE license onto someone else to make the wrestling games.

    I truly don't want this game to suck but it seems to be no difference from 2007 the only thing that has changed is the new ECW characters and the punch and pull system but apart from that the graphics look no better and the crowd and the banners look the same!
