    NOW THESE ARE SOME BIG ASS BOYS! and hard hits i need this to come out madden is alright but i mean really adrian petterson trucked the hell outta 6 guys at one time and went for a TD its not cool specialy when when the 1st hit was head on.

    EA is lucky it monopolized the NFL license because madden would be destroyed if this game had NFL..no one would play madden which still has like sega genesis stiffness in animation

    YEAH!!!! BOY!!!!! This Backbreaker looks like in the near future is gonna blow madden out of the water. Need another football game besides the EA Madden. This look so damn good!!!!

    Madden Graphics: Look great in still image, look good in movement.

    Backbreaker Graphics: Look decent in still image. Look great in motion.

    Dolphin79 aka fanboy101. Madden blows, to be more accurate, Madden blows the NFL because they know thier game sucks, so they won't let 2K make a better one, I can beat anybody in Madden, mainly because all you have to do is glitch like crazy. The game blows hard, and all it takes is a game like this to expose it.

First of all, those are futuristic pads, 'PADS' not a 6 pack, and next, it doesn't take a genius to realize every player looks the same, none of them are any different then anybody else. Why? Because this is a pre-alpha build, and they only have the default person in there. Once again, doesn't take a genius

    Im still on the fence about this one. Great physics doesnt make or break a game by itself, you need a good variety of game modes, good online play and a well-balanced gameplay to make a football game great. So until I get more info, Im not ready yet to say that it will be better than Madden.

    the player models look terrible, the kicker is huge and whats with the 6 pack showing through the jerseys

    Doesn't look that good will be a disappointment like all the others that try the only one that can make a good foot ball game is Madden and EA Sports. the only reason you ever hear complaints is when people are terrible at the game and try to blame the game

    The animation is awesome! Graphics....not so much...BUT...its early on..and im sure they will polish. They need to put that animation...into Madden and NCAA.

    Glad to see they are actually planning to release the game. I thought they would end up being bought out by the madden franchise. I know they can't use the NFL license which sucks, but this could be a fresh look at a burnt out genre.

    If the tackling system works well, they should join up with the madden franchise and help them ditch the predetermined tackles.

    the graphics aren't that bad. i would say a lil below next gen but euphoria is wat makes me want to play this not the graphics.

    The Song is Called New Noise by The Refused from album "The Shape of Punk to Come"... so sad they're no longer together. Anyway, yea, I do need a change from the whole madden genre and Blitz really wasn't my cup of tea, so hopefully this will bring some sort of refreshing change to the football scene.

    madden vs backbreaker. atari needs to buy the nfl teams then it could defintely challenge but i know madden its going to let it happen easy cause madden is the top selling sports game right now and sells millions each year. Also they have madden nation which makes good money as well.

    people it's obviously a tech demo for the gameplay.. don't be so cynical saying "oh this looks like garbage because it doesn't have colour's or teams or anything". I'm pretty sure they won't put out the game unless it has all the "shinies" to capture your attention. I'm pretty sure this was just a motion-tech video, so calm down. =)

    I didn't see much variation from the player models. The kicker looks like a linebacker. The players look like they got armor on instead of pads (why is their six pack showing) & the field & jersey's looks very bland. I'm hoping all of this is just because it's very early in the developing stage. Besides that, the motion looks excellent. The way they catch, run, break tackles, get tackled all looks very fluid & closest thing to what I see live. I'd buy a game without the NFL brand but it's gotta be every bit as deep. No one season & start over stuff. I need a Franchise mode with drafts & what not. I think in the end it'll be a fun game that will only last but a few seasons. Online might help it's longevity but the best thing they could do is team up with EA to make Madden NFL 11 one of the best looking & playing games ever.

    The fluid motion and physics look absolutely incredible compared to the herky-jerkiness of Madden.

    And this is another reason why I hope that EA has to give up the NFL license. Granted it may not be the best visually, the hits look great.

    Polish up the graphics, put the camera back, and make sure to have high customization options and this could be a hit.

    It looks like this game needs to get specific on what type of football game it is; sim(Madded) or arcade(Blitz). The player models and the glowing ball make it look like arcade to me, while the physics and full 11v11 leams lean towards sim. A hybrid could work... maybe.

    I think this game will be amazing all of the hits and the way the players play are great. I like the trailer alot, I hope that they add alot of modes in this game so there is always something new about the game everytime u turn it on.
