VIIth Heaven: Rekindling the Success of Final Fantasy VII For years, Final Fantasy games ranked among the most successful examples of the role-playing genre. Although it's debatable whether or not 1997's Final Fantasy VII is the best installment of the series to date, it could safely be considered the most influential.
