Where and how??

  • Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel, just a bit to the NorthWest of WKML Broadcast Station. If you completed "Blood Ties", one of the people from Arefu will show you the location of Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel on your Pip-boy.
  • Another way to get your hands on the Reservist's Rifle (or where I found it) is in an unmarked building somewhere in the wastes (sorry I can't give more than that from memory, I'll try and find it again, I think its the chapel the guy above spoke of) on the body of a "drifter". This is also how you find Oasis, as the coordinates will be on his body which will be added to your pip-boy. I found him dead, but I saw footage on youtube of him shooting at someone...
  • The rifle's in the mentioned church but the owner aint to freindly. he was hiding in the rafters of the church. It only holds three round of sniper ammo at a time but seems more powerful. It can be repaired with normal sniper rifles.
  • I killed the drifter in the rafters but couldn't find a way to get up there????????? I suppose I should've used a missle or frag to blow him outta there.
Instead, I went for the much better Victory Sniper Rifle. Victory Rifle is easy to find. Look for the abandoned shack just north of the Rockbreaker's Gas Station. It should be inside a locker. Might be a mutant or two in the area.
  • The Drifter is located in the rafters of the Dickerson Chapel, but it's impossible to get up there. You CAN stack a few thing, climb on the stack and jump to get high enough to search his body(hard way), or you could toss up a grenade to blow his body, or a part of his body out of the rafters(though you also risk damaging or even breaking the rifle this way).

The best thing to do is try to blow his head off with a Hunting Rifle or Sniper Rifle - as long as a part of his body flies off of the rafters(a severed limb, a piece of his brain, etc) you can search his body. Another thing you can do is go inside the church, turn around, whip out an assault rifle and enter VATs. Since VATs kills tend to make a body fall backwards, you have a good chance of knocking him out of the rafters and to the ground outside. If however, his body falls and reamins up on the rafters, you'll need to do the whole stack-stuff-then-jump method or try to blow his body, or a part of it, out of the rafters.

    Hope this helps.
  • Yeah, it's the chapel. I had to kill him because he started shooting at me. When he died, he stayed up on the balcony but I looked up at him from directly below and it came up "Search Drifter" so...
  • I found him by accident. My HUD started showing me there was an enemy near by, but I couldn't find the SOB. Must have been moving back and forth in the chapel for 5 minutes, trying to figure out why it kept saying I was walking put him. He never did shoot at me, but I was sneeking, and had the perk that lets you run silently. I finally thought to look up, and shot him in the nuts from below.
  • The best way to kill the drifter is to either shoot him with the missile launcher on a grenade or two. Items should fall down.
  • You should find the drifter in the Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel, it's located very close to the Deathclaw Sanctuary so there might be some Deathclaws patrolling the area. The chapel is also situated deep into Raider and
Super-Mutant terrortory (thats spelt wrong i can tell), so watch your back. If you appoach the chapel from the side of the bell tower, you should see the drifter pacing left and right through the window. Kill him with enough force to knock him or least some of him off of the platform he is standing on. Search him and take the Reservists' Rifle. I also got the Oasis Robe and Oasis Hood from him.
