Toss another few songs onto the Rock Band heap. Today, Harmonix and MTV Games announced two new track packs containing 8 songs are coming to the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. The first features the Warped Tour Pack, which includes five songs from bands playing this year's Warped Tour. These include such acts as A Day to Remember, Bad Religion, Chiodos, Escape the Fate, and Underoath. The Warped Tour is a yearly music and extreme sports festival that first kicked off in 1994. This summer's Warped Tour spans from the end of June to the end of August, and features pro-skating and BMX exhibitions along with a diverse line-up of bands.

The second track pack is from multiplatinum Los Angeles rock quintet Maroon 5, and consists of three songs: "Little of Your Time," "Makes Me Wonder," and "Wake Up Call." Both packs will be available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace on June 23 and the PlayStation Store on June 24. The Maroon 5 Pack costs 440 Microsoft Points or $5.49 while the Warped Tour Pack weighs in at MSP680 or $8.49. All eight new titles can be purchased individually as well for MSP160 or $2 on either service.

So no streetlight manifesto or some of the good warped tour bands? I agree with el_polloloco here! At least give us more paramore or something but for god's sake, maroon 5? That's even stranger than giving us the evanescence from last week... Bad Religion is amazing. Rock Band needs more good punk- throw is some more DK, bad religion, offspring, and rise against, give us some Sex Pistols or Bad Brains even, they have some really fun songs.

    Gotta agree with Evandemocracy too.
You might want more heavy metal tracks like DaIamar wants but you gotta also serve the punk crowd and the pop-rock crowd... even if you don't like it.

Rock Band transforms into pop-mtv band. Seriously, who cares for this bunch of crap? Give me some Dream Theater or Helloween.

ok... i understand most of you are manly men and don't like most of these songs... but keep in mind rockband is a great game to play with everyone even younger siblings... mine are extremely excited about these songs. granted i personally could live without out these songs but i enjoy playing with the siblings so ill be glad to get a few more songs so i can stop playing sponge bob and all american rejects.

some exciting tracks good to see escape the fate on rock band although im more of a Radke era fan of escape the fate and a day to remember and chiodos should be fun although i must say maroon 5 is not going to be very high on any list of dlc i'll be getting anytime soon.

I do believe this is the first of two Warped Tour packs. According to Wikipedia, there's another pack due out of the 30th. None of the tracks really take my fancy, but I have always been impressed with Harmonix's promise to deliver weekly downloadable content, and is the main reason why I prefer Rock Band to Guitar Hero.

I agree with Evandemocracy...not all tracks are for everyone, but some more commercial tracks gets the kids involved as I was recently asked if there were any tracks from this century on Rockband...ouch!

no more of this hot topic bs you call music please!! for god sake there are loads better bands in the warped tour line up this year. bad religion is probably the most decent band on that whole list, but come on 21st century digital boy, really? you guys can do better than that. at least some better punk from the line up like some good old fashion bouncing souls or something. hell throw in some ska. id love to see that. but as for maroon 5 all i got to say is whatever floats your boat.
