    This could be better if...

    It used an graphics and physics engine

    It had a full cover system

    It had multiplayer

    I played the demo and got interested in it. So I bought the full game and have had loads of fun with it. I still play it on my ps3. GFX are way better than Saints Row 2 wich is one of my favourite games.

    If you love action, car and sandboxed games then you cant go wrong with this. Me myself have done all side missions and upgraded my cars physix and speed, garages, weapons and now wrapping up the story missons. I also today downloaded the new DLC with more content for the game.

    I am not a fan of Vin Diesel but I liked Butcher Bay n the sequal was okay but this 1 sucks

    The on footgameplay seems to be the game's biggest downfall, but it wasn't really made for that anyway. If you can just use the map to jump from mission to mission, then it seems like on foot play should have been completely taken out of the equation. Although they are correct about the fact that you can't jump really destroying the on footplay. i mean Come on!

    I can't even count how many games wheelman remembered me:

    GTA (obviously)
    True Crime (you can turn 180 and start shooting in slow-motion, although it's a bit more complicated than a button press)
    Stuntman
    Burnout
    Just Cause (Airjacking)
    Scarface (You can't kill pedestrians, at least Tony Montana's morality doesn't let him kill them, in opposition of this game, that you can shoot, but can't kill)

    the driving looks good, there are some good ideas but it's just poorly executed

    Car jacking while in a high speed chase was what did it for me (Despite everything else crap about the game) As soon as I saw "Vin Diesel" open his car door and jumped from his car to another car while in a high speed chase, I laughed (LMAO) and put the game off. I know they probably where trying to do new cool stuff to driving game but that was not even impressive or cool. I mean oh my god O_o.

    i like the "spin your car around and shoot the bad guys" feature but its still not enough for even a rent. did anyone think any movie game would turn out well? anyway they should put that spin-and-shoot feature into the next GTA or something.

    Looks like this one might be full of real cool moments and real frustrating ones as well. It alsways blows me away when a game can't get the walking around part right...and Stuntman is not the only recent game to fail at this. It doesnt even matter if walking around is not the main part of the game, there's no excuse for it imo.

    isnt it unfinfished because midway had to sell it?
    who ever go hold of it (ubisoft maybe i really can't remember) might have just pumped it out how it was to ry and get some money back, shame really i thought this game had real promise

    if u want something open ended, alot cheaper, graphics good, and better on foot but somewhat repetitive side missions get just cause completly underated

    They should've made the driving more like GTA rather than Burnout

    Not a bad video review. I like how you stuck with the game's game play instead of making us watch yet another guy who can't remember his own review and has to read from cards. One thing, you kept saying it was short but never said exactly how long it will last. I would assume 5-6 hours from the review. Anyway, I'll give it a go. I can always use a short game for weekends.
