    Just amazing, perfect. This will definitely beat Forza. If this is how GT5 looks like...i wonder how GT6 will look.

    ok,hands down,the best looking game ever,the sounds are awesome and the music in the trailer is phenomenal,a must-own,you know there aren't too much games that have 1,000 cars and 75 tracks,in fact there isn't.

    Looks very promising, but the main question is if it will be able to compete with Forza 3. Myself speaking, i loved the older grand turismo's, and i think GT5 will be favored.

    Diggyman, Forza3 is great, but eventually all these racers are going to get to the point where, if they are doing thier job correctly, they all drive pretty identical.

    That being said, much as I love Forza3, being limited in what racing wheels I can use really sucks. I have big plans to finally get a ps3 in 2010 for FFVIII and GT5 with a bad-ass G27 racing wheel. Finally start driving manual in-game!

    They keep saying that the new Forza might have this one beat... I'm not so sure about that. Forza looks fine and dandy, but GT5 has a very very keen sense of physics, my kinda thing. Plus it looks 11% more beautiful. Hey I don't even own a PS3. I'm just being real.

    I hope they're not trying to do to much with this. And I couldn't give a rats arse about Nascar and I'm from the South Eastern part of the US. I'd much rather have F1 in the game than Nascar. Nascar is boring and overhyped.

    I exchanged my month old PS3 just after release as hardly any games and lots of online issues with F1, But peolple this game alone will deffo make me consider going out and buying another one. I played GT4 for months and months with my Logitech Pro Wheel. It looks fantastic. Theyve always had the best GFX. Nice they have the licence to allow damage now too. I phoned them up a while ago and they said I had to complain to the manufacturers as they wouldnt allow it. Now they are so awesome news !

    Sony. I love ya man, but if you don't get this frickin game out in the next couple of months, you're idiots. It's been 5 years in the making already! Release it!!! And put this gorgeous trailer on the PSN in 1080p already. jeez!

    this game might be a better racing simulation, but it will never be as entertaining as Need For Speed!!

    Ya know Gran Turismo was the whole reason I bought an original Playstation back in the day and I've always LOVED the series.. It just gets better and better every time. But this time I fear that by the time this gets officially released they will have lost their edge....

    I have never been a fan of GT because I have never truly sat down and tried to master it, but this trailer just makes me sit here and think about how disappointed I am with my self. I will definity give this game a go, because arcade racers are just plain arcade now to me.

    game looks great its about time we get differnt genres like nascar in a high graphics game whats not cool is its taking for ever to come out i hope it well be worth the wait im going need for speed shift to get me by tell then nascar meets import sweet..

    I got the PS3 and Xbox, GT5 looks OK but the whole steering wheel setup from Logitech costs big $$ so I rather invest in Forza3 and get Dirt2 for the OffRoad, as for NASCAR Yawn circles Yawn. My $90 MS steering wheel is awesome so I am all set for some real racing. I guess the PS3 stays a BlueRay video player for the time being. Unless Xbox360 had a HD download for the movie ;-)

    Can I just say its beautiful! By far the best looking Racing Game out there, with I believe it was 170 out of the 1000+ cars featured with damage, and ONLINE PLAY!. But may I say flapjack I have Prologue, love it, and this vid is indeed the in-game engine. I don't know what resolution Gamescon ran but my 1080p Plasma puts out the same graphics as the vid

    There is no way that was made with the in-game engine (all of the playable versions even the latest one at gamescom have much lower graphics).

    GT5 has lost me, no release date even now years later and NASCAR (yeah, like I want to turn left for 400 laps) means my money goes to Forza Motorsport 3.

    u no u can buy a HDD of the same model and put it in ur ps3... i bought a 500+ [probably 512] GB and put it in my ps3 so od u call that lack of space?

    Looks like it WILL have damage models, at least for the WRC bit. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

    It'll be nice to get some damage involved in this already prolific racing sim. If I know these guys like I think I do it won't only be cosmetic. The damage could go all the way to the frame and chassis and put the car out of commission. I would love to see some consequence for drivers who just rear end their competition out of the way and march their way to easy victories.

    It's still amazing to me how crazy people get over the different consoles. I own a 360 so naturally I'm a Forza owner, but I also still own all of my old Gran Turismo games because they were revolutionary for the racing genre, and they are the games that got me into racing. I'm still waiting for GT5 to come out like I have a PS3 because it is going to be an amazing game, just like Forza 3. There are a lot of so called gamers out there that need to start recognizing a good game for what it is, not for what platform it's on or only for how it's graphics look.

    I want this game sooooo bad! I cant wait for it to come out! I hope they put in loads of FF cars and races in cus i like the mix of slow, medium, fast and full race cars.

    I'm not a fan of race games..... but this looks very promissing. I hope there is a damage system in the final product. I might buy it.....

    Wow there is a world of difference between those graphics and the prologue graphics. I like the damage on the Subby in the vid, it shows hella promise for the game. Best damage I have seen in a racing or any game that is car related. I just hope this isn't a hyped up video just to show off what the studio can do. If the actual game graphics are any less than this Ill be let down.

    I believe GT 5 gonna have a lot of Surprises !! They will not let Forza take the first place for sure !! Forza take the Pole position by coming out first ! but at the end the Race GT 5 gonna win the Race !! Just wait and watch !! ...... and play it !!

    I have the GT 5 Prologue HD , looks Prety BUT; The camera behind the Car is to close ! almost no space between the car and the end of screen !! its too close , the car looks too BIG !! I hope Sony include one more Camera View behind the car !! The Graphichs looks more sharped then Forza 3 , i will buy both anyway !!
