On 1/27/09, Konami added a new, free mode to Metal Gear Online called Bomb Mission. In this mode, the offensive team attempts to detonate a bomb at a targeted location, while the defending team must protect its stronghold and prevent bombs from exploding.

    I wish u could eat and like be ur own doctor when u get injured like in the third one. I personally think that it is kind of a reasonable exchange for great graphs instead. Does anyone think modern warfare 2 is better, I haven't played it yet

    playing this game was like watching a movie, I hardly get to do anything but the whole story was EPIC definitely recommend this one

    me and my bro saved up a ps3 recently just for this game Mgs 3 was amazing hope to get MGS4 really soon

    well just a few days ago, i finally decided to get off my lazy but and get MGS4, because i was bored and i heard from my friends how "awesome" it was...and i never really played any MGS game before...well...except for the first one but i only finished part of it. Oh boy was i surprised....because after 2 days of non-stop play, my mind just freakin blew. And now i won't complain about Raiden being the main character in MGS:Rising seeing how sissy he was in MGS2(i played only to the part where you have to "freeze" all of those explosives then quit cuz it was kinda tedious)

    yea, i played online and got owned all the time lol. MGO is best if your good at it, otherwise its best to stick with the single-player, which always has something else to do even after you have beat it for the 10th time.

    I have played MGO for more or less every day since it's launch and I just had to get rid of it not because it was crap oh no, it was because I hadn't played another single game since it's release. MGS4 is most likely the best game of this decade, and I know that not many will agree with me but MGO is in my opinion the best online game ever made, and if you say no please play it for a month first, becuase you will get own like hell if you've never played MGO before and most likely say "crappy game".

    This game is absolutely incredible, and it shows how powerful the PS3 really is. It looks and sounds amazing. This game could never be on the Xbox 360, period. This is the second game that I feel deserves a perfect 10. It's an incredible game that doesn't get old even after the first play.

    Although I feel that Uncharted 2 integrates story and gameplay better, the overall story of Metal Gear Solid 4 is better. It's deeper, more complex, and more original. Although I wished there was a better cover system like Uncharted 2 had, this game is still stunning and a must play. It's a game that not only tops its predecessors in every single way, but also make you love them even more. Truly a 10 out of 10, no doubt about it.

    I find it amusing when he speaks that MGS4 graphics are the best ever....
    ...he certainly never played PC games such as Crysis,a 2007 game that visualy humbles this one.

    I've been gaming for some 30 years now, and I rarely ever play through a game more than once. However, with regards to MGS4, I'm on my fourth playthrough and may even go for a fifth. This entire series may be the best I'll ever see in my lifetime. If you've yet to play this game, please give it a shot. I promise you won't regret it.

    I finished this game for the first time last night, brilliant. Why does Hal have to cry all the time though, is there some symbolic reference that justifies his near constant waterworks in Guns of the Patriots and Sons of Liberty or is he just a big blouse?

    i would say all 4 is good but with mgs1 u can imagine playing a ps1 game with outdated controls, graphics, etc

    troydtroy, wtf!!!!!! this game has amazing graphics you stupid 360 fanboy!!!!! nearly all reviewers gave this game a 10/10 in the graphics department, and this game destroys any game on the 360 graphically, so go look at gears of war or something

    borrowed a ps3 for this one, didnt work for 2 day and finished it over the weekend.... indeed the a candidate for one of the best videgames of all time. you wouldn't know if you're playing or watching.... IMO best of last year and of all time
