I agree its a "piece of art", it was fun to watch the fur & all stuffs which are real time rendered...but once we've seen it, why would we wanna buy it??...& they say its interactive but i didn't get where anyone actually interacted in this!!...it only felt like like a real time rendered movie!!...but to start something new is always good...so i hope in the future, they will make this "Interactive art" more Interactive & may produce some new level of gaming!

I have to agree with others that this is truly a unique "work of art" that demonstrates what the PS3 is capable of. I also agree we will see more of this media in the future...I hope so. I'm glad I spent the $3 to download and experience it. That being said, I think I'd have to watch it several more times to "get" what the artists are trying to say.

when i first saw this video it looked like a Shadow of the Colossus thing, i was really hoping for a sequel, i think this would be an amazing art for a new Shadow of the Colossus

I think in the future we'll see more things like this one. Of course it's not a game, but the medium is just so great and, as an artist, I think it can't be ignored. We have great machines in our houses, and games is just one thing that they can do. Those who live will see.

This seems pretty interesting. However, this also does seem like it is not something that you would really invite gaming buddies over to play with you; it seems more like something where you would invite some of your friends that are intellectual and appreciate art more. Both crowds may be the same, but to me, it feels like you should not tell your friends that they are coming over to play a game, they are coming over to see something which not only has wonderful artwork and meaning, but also if you have any friends who are unconvinced about the quality of the PS3, what kind of graphics and movements are possible with the PS3's processor. Overall, not really what you would call a game, but more as the guy in the video states, a work of interactive artwork which gives its creators a medium to express themselves without being constrained to maintaining the interest of the average gamer, but really just an oppurtunity to experiment with what they can do. I personally think that this could have a big future possiblity of becoming something that people would leave running at parties so that people could watch the beauty of it while still being able to have conversations without being drowned out by either the sound of gunfire or else the roaring of an engine.

You know when you're watching a DVD/Blu Ray disc and you can get Director's commentary - this art work needs that additional level... puts things into perspective... it's impressive though.

Yeah I've played the game...well I'm not so sure I'm comfortable calling it a game actually. Like the guy in the video said, it's more like interactive art. Basically you're taken through a series of beautifully dark scenes that look like oil paintings mixed with real life. The amazing part is that it's all in engine. None of it is a cutscene. But basically you're shown a scene and then the scene either rewinds or pauses and allows you to interact with it. In order to move on you have to use a time warp mechanism, take a picture of a certain frame, or use the six-axis controller to steer or cause something to turn. Basically you're looking for the main symbolism of the scene and trying to get it to interact correctly to move onto the next scene. Strange right? Well it's only $2.99 on the PSN store so why not try it.

I'm playing it as we speak and it's a really trippy ride and the score's epic scale is making for an interesting experience. It has alot of symbolism in it and is a GREAT way to experience a new type of gaming and pull you away from the traditional mold for a few minutes....kind of like how Flow, Pixeljunk Eden, and Braid does. It places you into this whole new level of art, music, and gaming appreciation. This is just another "game" that proves that the mold can be broken in this form of entertainment as well; opening up a whole new genre of gaming. I'm very excited to see how this new genre will develop. But unfortunately not everyone will be able to experience the full beginning of this movement as this medium is pretty much only making it's way to PSN. Xbox has yet to allow themselves the ability to release these kinds of games due to the XBL file size cap. I'm really hoping they get rid of that soon so Microsoft only fans can experience this as well. Either that or have more games along the lines of Braid come out. But if you have a PS3, go and download Linger in Shadows today! It's only $2.99 and it's an experience you won't forget. Keep in mind that this experience is meant to be episodic. So if you're put off by it's length then just keep in mind that more is the come. Make sure to go back to the main screen and try different artists compilations to extend the experience. OH, did I mention it has trophies? Really easy ones to get. I got silver metals ALL over the place.

Hofmarskal, it's not a game, it's digital interactive art. If you watch the video interview, they're pretty clear on that part. It was never meant to be a game, hence you won't "get" it if you try to see it as one

Any one played it yet? Its only 25DKK on the european PSN, or about 4 USD.
