    @ Decrate. Gears looks sharper with more detail, but resistance dosent load, never dips in frame-rate, has twice the size of levels, and twice as many enemies, its more fast-paced, is 6 times more players online. So while gears looks better, its more compressed. And this is off topic, talk about resistance only here, thats what these comments are for.

    yeah gears of war looks much better than this and resistance 2. but thats just because of the developer's fault. the ps3 should render games better.

    this and the second one are one of the few reasons to why I would buy a PS3, but imo Xbox 360 does have the best games and the best controller

    the only thing I hate about insomniac games is that they only make games for playstation..

    well since i like scifi earth has fallen stories and it draws from call of duty my fave game (the whole series) and halo (the whole seriees another fave it looks cool

    hmm i think it was overhyped so far the campaign is alright but the online multiplayer sucks you die too easily and mostly every ranked game i play is a 3 on 3 not sure if its suppost to be like that but thats boring and all the unranked games are like 1 hit kills and 200% bonus dmg

    I am in the middle of this game, absolutely exciting game though, one of the best campaigns I've ever played. I rank it up there with Half-Life and F.E.A.R.

    Yeah, it recharges one block, like if u are on 2 and 1/2 blocks, it will recharge to 3 blocks. But if you loose a whole block, you cant recharge that back. So you can kinda recharge hp, but not completly.

    I got a PS3 for christmas today, and this game and the 2nd with it, it's a pretty fun game, i wanna finish it so i can play the 2nd ^^.

    Its interesting, I brought the game few days ago and I thought exactly the same, this game borrows a lot of things from Halo, Half Life 2 and Call of Duty.... and this guys its a good thing! (but not too original haha)

    BTW, me and my friend we are playing the game in co-mode, is there a way to change the screen horizontal to vertical split? thanks

    @ Padfoot15 its great on co-mode

    This is an amazing game,
    probably not as good as the sequel,
    but it is an amazing game.

    It does keep you on the edge and some scenes are a bit creepy and I love that about a game.

    I recommend this to any first person shooter fan too!

    the only reason that i bouhgt this game like a month before the second one came out is because i wanted to learn the story from the beggining so i went out to toys r us and bought it for $30 and i think it has the funnest co-op mode and it makes you think because youre health comes back but only in small gauges and if you are playing co-op then you have to conserve health packs the online is alright its not as good as call of duty 4 but it is still fun. if you are planning on getting resistance 2 which you should it yould be a smart idea to play this game through at least once to understand it more

    picklesrocks heres the thing i like gears more also but you cant say its a bad just cuz its not gears cuz its not ment to be gears resistance deservs a 9 at best and not a 5 you 360 fan boy i pesonly have a 360 and not a ps3 but i am no fan boy and i love both systems

    Danny: Yea you gotta get this game. I got it with my PS3 in June this year and it's awesome. Make sure you beat it before R2 comes out though.

    what? that game deserves a 5 it is bland repetitive and just boring, they were obviosly paid off there, stupid ps3 thinking it can stand up to gears of war

    Wait. So, you can only play co-op through the campaign after you've beaten it single player? And even then, you can only play split-screen?

    I wonder if he even played the game. Cause your health does not regenerate when you duck behind cover. You need to find health capsules to boost your health.
