    so around 5 credit cards thin, that's still amazing tv wise. Once they get to be able to fold and unfold seamlessly, portable and large screen tvs will dominate thoroughly (at the right price point). As for 3D, haven't tried the new tech for it, couldn't stand the red and blue glasses of decades past. Hopefully, there will never be any after affects of prolonged use, . . stereovision or akin to astigmatism.

    I'm totally convinced that 3D is the future of entertainment. It's the natural progression of the medium. First came picture, then came sound (which many naysayers thought would never catch on) and now depth and dimension. As soon as I saw Beowulf in 3D, I knew that this is where the movie industry had to go. You could hear the audience (and myself) oohing and ahhing at this completely new experience. And that was with a somewhat mediocre movie such as Beowulf. Wait till James Cameron's Avatar comes out. It's going to blow everyone's mind.

    Yeah, they did mention new controllers, but they were talking about Street Fighter IV at the time. Maybe they meant the new xbox360 controller with the improved D pad. I would think that if they were talking about the motion controlled or "transformer" controller that Sony's supposedly working on, I would think they'd give it much more coverage (and be much more psyched about it!)

    I hope 3d comes officialy to ps3. Imagine if we can download patches for some of the games that are out already. Like the motorstorm series. It would increase the sales bringing even more new titles to us, ps3 owners. Thei could also make downloable 3d games like siren: that would be sweet!!!! Let's hope sony takes the best decision for the ps3 --and not what they did with games such as heavenly sword 2, 8 days and the getaway.

    He had the "3 credit card" thing on the wrong TV. It's the OLED thats only 3mm thick.

    acting all sarcastic isn't making us laugh. Sony is working on future technology...sure everyone is not giving sony much credit...but in two to five years time everyone will be running on the ideas they created.

    Eckberg?, man why don't they get someone who is actually interested in Sony and not sum biased, paid by Microsoft analyst. Senior Analyst=Eckberg=Gamespot=Microsoft. Plain and Simple.
