Okay I've been playing the game for a couple hours already. I love the game since it reminds me of crackdown, where every building can be climbed. You just have to figure out the right way to get up. Also there are power up scattered throughout the whole city for you to find.

I am going the "good" route. Which gives me separate abilities from the "evil" route. It's like in Fable where every action you do gives your either good or bad karma. For example you can either choose to heal a person or use them as your battery.

As you gain in either karma you get a rank. For me I gained the rank of champion, which unlocks new upgrades.

The controls are great and you don't have to worry too much about falling off small areas or walking along poles. There are a bunch of side quests which kills plenty of time.

Great game I advised getting this asap!

I haven't read any of the other posts on this board yet. Hmm, maybe I shoulda put my title as "some info" or something. LOL.

But if there is any question feel free to ask.

Here is a picture, so it doesn't seem I'm lying or anything.

Also there are power up scattered throughout the whole city for you to find.

What do you mean by this?
That there are things to power up your electricity or something else?

During the explosion there are power shards that has been dispersed throughout the whole city. You'll find them stuck almsot anywhere. The shards increase your energy reserves called power core. So you wont have to recharge all the time. After awhile it takes more and more of the shards to increase a core.

On an unrelated topic. The fighting mechanics are similar to Uncharted in away. For ex..when you want to shoot your bolt or bombs you would first have to hold onto L1. L1 brings up your aim, then you would proceed to press pressing R1 to fire a bolt or square to toss a bomb.

InFamous already in GOLD status for a while.

Besides, in less than 4 weeks from the official release, I didn't surprise if someone actually gets it earlier.

    I kinda jealous though... >___>

    A question:

You say that "shot controls" are:

L1 (bring up the arm), and then R1 (bolts) or Square (bombs).

But, what are the controls for the melee combat?

And, how can you switch from one power to another? For example: switch between bolts, shields, winds...

Like Sutalu I want to know the controls. As much as I'd like to believe you (and I almost do because the story behind the shard things is new to me) I won't until I hear all the controls. I'm also suspicious because IGN gave out the same info on controls as you did. I have no doubts you read this article. Tell me the controls and I'll believe you.

The shard thing has been in past articles so I think it is still questionable if he really owns it or not; I cannot see the pic so I do not know what it reveals, of course if you have it congratulations.

By the unbridled fury of Gragamels bladder, I demand PROOF! TC has abandoned topic.

Tomorrows forecast: cloudy with an 80% chance of Conception

Now playing: DS2, Demons Souls (what the double plural), awaiting Prototype

    I was sleeping. LOL.

Okay. Melee Is square. You don't require pressing L1. Just run up to them and punch.
L2 let's you absorb electricity from anything that carries power ie..from cars to generators.
    X is jump.
If you use R1 near enemies or civilians you bring up options whether to: pulse heal, bio leech, or arc restraint them.

So far I don't know what circle is used for or R2. Maybe those will be unlocked later.

Right now going the good route I unlocked Overload Burst which when you fire your lighting it chains off conductive surfaces striking anyone hiding behind it. If you went the evil route you would instead unlock Arc Lighting which fires a continuous stream of lighting. I think that is more useful, but oh well.

Oh Circle let's you crotch behind cars or walls to hide from. Holding L2 and pressing circle will let you roll.

R3 let's you change which arm to shoot from. Really good when you are high and need a better angle.

    CROUCH! I was still groggy.

It is really that hard to believe I got the game? Even if I did show a screen shot of me playing it, it wouldn't be enough to someone.

Jealousy can make people do crazy stuff. I guess everyone just think that if this is fake they would have wasted their time on false info, thats why they including me would prefer to see more proof before wasting or not their time

Even though i do and dont believe you id like to ask you how does the story progress is it like GTA IV where you have to walk to some location like a house or store or whatever to trigger the mission?
