    Is racing supposed to be a big selling point for this game? They sure play that up a lot. I just want another Fallout 3, either with this or Fallout New Vegas, Bethesda's gotta give it to us.

    No Offence to anyone but the more I watch these trailers for this game, it reminds me of Fallout 3 and Borderlands. But i will wait to see what new ideas the developers will bring.

    First there was Fallout, then there was Borderlands and then there's this. Also the accomplice of Metro 2033. Yay for post apocalyptic scenarios.

    Yeah i want to see some game play on this one too and i think it looks better than borderlands but who knows as i have just read this won't be out untill mid 2010 at the earliest but well worth the wait by the look of things ;-)

    is it just me or are games starting to all get this way it started with stalker and fallout now everything is an awsome post doomsday or something shooter with invertories and kooool people for the nube shackling? ahh i luv wer games r goin this and the new stalker commin out and idk what NEW VEGAS is but its got the fallout name so it might b worth a look wen they actually get some news on it. but seriously is anyone else getting tired of when they anounce a game years ahead of its date and dont show anything for ever and then keep pushing back the date!?!? ugh w/e but also (im sure everyone has) look into the new splinter cell pruty interesting... O yeah i remembered BOARDERLANDS!!! omg thats gona b BEAST!!! i would advise every one who is interested in this to take a peak at it. very similar they went with a weird art style but i think it will b a smasher just sayn.

    to ocdog45... because people dont know what they are talkin about ya it looks sorta the same ya get burryd for a while and come out to hell but its not just that. you cant compare these awsome beat u to death mutants with thoes zombie things off fallout these r WAY more awsome!even the raider guys look awsome! and u got vehicles so u dont hav to walk from a to b. im just hoppin it will (and it looks like it will) hav more action than the fallout 3's 5 enemies every 10 frekin miles!

    That was awesome, better look out for this game next year.
    I hope the drive and shooting will be good as developers slant the game towards shooting or driving, all i want is a good balance for example GTA 4

    yeah true this looks like fallout 3 but fallout 3 was helluva game and im looking forward rage borderlands and fallout new vegas there gonna be sick and brink and so many others AHHHHH its crazy ps3 ftw

    borderlands takes place on another plantet guys. apocalypse can only define earth ya dig. cause we made the damn words up. apocalypse just doesn't exist anywhere but where we humans are. cheers. btw this game will be better than Fallout3

    regardless of how much this game looks like fallout 3 or broderlands(which it does plenty) it looks awesome and like it may even be able to improve on many of the shortcomings fallout possessed(even though fallout 3 was a killer game and one of my favorites). and look around dudes, post apocalyptia isn't owned by bethesda and has been the backdrop to endless numbers of media and literature for decades, maybe centuries. this game is gonna be sick and i cant wait...

    driving AND shooting? sounds like a bit of a fail. shoulda jus stuck to the shooting side of things i think. who better to make a solid shooter than the creators of Doom?

    Looks like fallout 3 with cars....or borderlands minus the art style....well who cares it looks good and they all look like Mad Max 2 (road warrior for you yanks) anyway...which actually doesnt look that much like Mad Max 1.lol

    Well actually there are a bit more similarities than just post-apocalyptia based on what ive read. First of all, you start the game as a guy leaving this underground safe haven known as a pod (vault). people like u are rare to come by, as the pods didnt go as planned and most every1 in them died (sound familiar?). thats when u hear of the mysterious organization that kinda runs things behind the curtain called the authority (enclave). Oh, and theres mutants. im just sayin...

    this game looks great, i love id they r the fathers of fps, plus racing too, and lots of exploration thrown, looks good, and quit comparing to fallout3 people, jebus crust, its not the only free world game, theres alot like everything by bethesda not fallout3 or prototype, or crackdown, jeez

    I dont see how people can keep comparing this game to Fallout 3. The only thing in comen is the Post appocalyptic world. Maybe the shooter part but fallout had a completely different style to it. It didnt play out like regular shooters what with the guns breaking every 20 kills. There diffetent with some similarities. This game has been in production for like 3 - 5 years they havnt really said so there is no way they could have compied fallout 3.

    Its not a racing game that just showed it that way in the trailer. You can race asa side mission but you use vehicles to get around sort of like in Half-Life 2. I think it looks pretty good from what ive read.

    they are promoting it all over gamestop it looks ok but why the racing mixed with the monsters thers no point, and so i problably will not get it

    My m8 told me about this game cause I liked fallout 3, i hope it comes out on pc it looks interesting, always wanted to play a mad max type shooter with cars in it, playing fallout 3 was sorta like mad max with the ruined world, but without cars =(

    Can't help but laugh at people who keep referencing Fallout 3.

    Fallout didn't create the post-apocalyptic shooter.


    This game looks flat-out amazing. Can't wait until it's done.

    Fallout 3 with cars. At least the other Fallout 3 rip (Borderlands) has a cool art style.
