DW: Gundam 2 Question

Black/red SP attacks?

I'm not sure what they should be called, but I've encountered several enemies that use them, notably in the third "Gundam Fight" mission, and against Char during the final duel of CCA.
Basically, the opponent will seem to use a standard SP attack, except the energy they charge with appears to be red/black in color and a far wider area. Following that (in the case of bits/funnel users) the character departs the field for a short time, leaving behind those little independent units to attack the player while they heal.
Similar attacks of this type involve Wing Zero departing the field to periodically shoot the player from outside range, and Zeta employing Waverider crash for a very extended period of time.
I'm wondering if there's anyway for players to do this, or is it merely a computer tactic meant to make it that much more frustrating?

Alright, I'll try to answer this now.

If they are at low health, it would be a new version of the hyper-attack that could be done in the last game. I don't think there would be a way for us to do it though.

If they aren't at low health, then it is a CPU only thing for sure.
